Yutoku Inari Shrine & Hizen Hamashuku Sake Brewery Tour
We will offer an excursion to two culturally significant sites in Saga
Prefecture:
Yutoku Inari Shrine, one of Japan’s most famous Inari shrines, and Hizen
Hamashuku, a historic district known for its traditional sake breweries.
Yutoku Inari Shrine
Yutoku Inari Shrine, founded in 1687, is one of the three major Inari shrines
in Japan.
Located in Kashima City, the shrine is renowned for its impressive hillside
architecture, vibrant vermilion structures, and scenic views of the surrounding
valley.
Participants can enjoy a peaceful walk through the shrine grounds, explore
the ornate main hall, and learn about the cultural significance of Inari
worship in Japan.

Hizen Hamashuku Sake Brewery District
After visiting the shrine, the tour will continue to Hizen Hamashuku, a
beautifully preserved Edo-period townscape. This area is famous for its
cluster of historic sake breweries, many of which continue to produce high-quality
local sake using traditional methods.
Participants will stroll through the charming streets, visit selected breweries,
and enjoy guided tastings while learning about the craftsmanship behind
Japanese sake
